Challenges of Growing Old Together
with Linda Schenker

Growing old together has challenges beyond individual issues. Physical, emotional and spiritual needs change as we age. It can be challenging to communicate these sensitive issues with each other. It is difficult, yet rewarding, to talk with each other about how we want to live, how we want to die, and how we want to be remembered. This group welcomes couples in diverse dedicated relationships for a kind, thoughtful conversation.
Instructor: Linda Schenker, MSW, has maintained a practice in psychotherapy in Philadelphia and Blue Bell for the past 40 years. She has specialized in relationship issues, family dynamics, and issues around aging and intergenerational relationships. She has run groups on parenting, relationship and aging issues, and has taught and supervised other clinicians.
